Is this pay-to-play?

Yes. Unlike other rankings, we say so.

How is the ranking determined?

By the total amount of money each founder has paid us, in descending order. We have found this to be remarkably objective.

What do I get for my money?

A rank. The rank is the product. We are proud of how little confusion there is about this.

Can I lose my position?

The moment someone pays more than your lifetime total, yes. We recommend paying more than anyone else ever will.

Are payments refundable?

No. Legacies are non-refundable. This is covered at checkout, in the terms, and now here, for the third time.

Is my bid cumulative?

Yes. Every dollar you have ever paid us counts toward your rank, forever. Loyalty is rewarded; so is impulsiveness.

How do other founder rankings work?

We genuinely could not tell you. That is, in a sense, why this site exists.

Is this a joke?

The leaderboard is real, the payments are real, and the rank is really yours. Whether it is a joke is between you and your board.

What happens when I take the No. 1 spot?

You receive the Holding #1 card, a running count of how long you have reigned, and the quiet respect of people who understand exactly what you did. When you are dethroned, we announce it site-wide and inter you in the Hall of Former Top Founders. Every empire ends; ours just has timestamps.
